My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Monica's family. I was a high school classmate of hers at Fremont St. Joe. Beside being the smartest member of the Class of '71 I remember that wonderful sense of humor she had. She was quick with the one liners. I am stunned and deeply saddened to hear of her untimely death. While her stay here on earth was short-lived her memory will live on in our hearts. She was an inspiration to us all. God's peace be with you.

We are all blessed to have had Mrs. Camp-Allen touch our lives. Like many others, I was a student of hers and also reflect fondly on those times whenever I'm working on a project or appreciating art all around us. My thoughts and prayers are with you, her family, during this difficult time. She will be greatly missed, but take comfort in knowing that God is taking care of her and of all of us.

My thoughts and prayers will be with Monica's family. I had the pleasure of going to High School with Monica at St. Joseph Central Catholic in Fremont Ohio and she will long be remembered for her smile, concern and care for all. She was someone you always looked up to. She was highly motivated and just an all-around great human being. With deepest sympathy, Pat(Barbour)Cutcher

My heart and prayers are with you, Monica's family, during tis time of loss. Monica was a star, someone who blessed the IHM comunity with her gifts of warmth, talent, time, and, always, humor! She wove stories of her children with such laughter and love that I felt I was watching Jennifer, Victoria, and Christopher grow from afar. Monica will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in all who knew her. Her legacy to both students and faculty is one of creativity and zest for life. My deepest sympathy to each of you.

My deepest condolences go out to Ms. Camp-Allens family and friends. I was lucky enough to have her as an art teacher at IHM for 3 semesters. Not only was she a wonderful person with a passion for art but a great educator and listener. I will never forget her and i truly will miss her.

My deepest sympathies to your family. Both my daughters, Kim and Kari, had Ms. Camp-Allen as an art instructor at IHM. Dear Family of Mrs. Camp-Allen,
Words can not express the sadness of our loss, but truly most heartfelt by you, her family. I have to tell you how proud your Wife, Mother, Sister, Monica, was of all of you. She often shared stories and events of her family with a noticeable glimmer of pride in her eyes. It is my pleasure to have known Monica as an IHM parent, room mom and chaperone. I will never forget our many favorite field trips to the Art Institute. Monica's talent for Art was much more than learned. Her artistry and beauty came from within her soul. Her sense of humor and down-to-earth nature made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Please be proud of her for she touched so many lives in such a positive way. (Mrs. Camp-Allen was instrumental in guiding my daughter to a career from the art classes that she loved the most.) To you her family, I thank you for "sharing" and having known her. Monica was truly a gift from God. He must have called her home for a special project. May God Bless and keep you.

I remember Mrs. Camp-Allen fondly as a wonderful person and a kind, patient teacher whose passion for art encouraged us. Her art class, which I took during my freshman year at IHM, helped foster my creativity and interest in art. To this day, I remember her class whenever I work on a project. She helped reinforce the importance of practice and patience and helped me look past my mistakes and focus on the unique beauty of each piece.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

I had many art classes with Mrs. Camp-Allen at IHM from 1992-96. She was an excellent and caring teacher and person. When I was a freshman art student of hers, she wrote me a letter of appreciation and encouragement that I have saved to this day, over 10 years later. Her words were very meaningful to me and that letter is one of my most cherished mementos. She was a mentor to me, and I am now out in the real world working as a graphic designer and owe part of my preparation and education to her. I will always remember her fondly and I wish to express my deepest sympathy to her family.
