Mitzi was a very important person in our family. Her husband, Sam, was brother to my Grandmother Fanny Kronenberg. She was the last of the previous generation and she carried the family to the next generation. Mitzi came to the bar and bat mitvah of both my children, Zev Nachman and Ariel Winona, here in Idaho, carrying the family tradition and legacy with her. Her memory of the family and origins in Europe was always very sharp and she shared many stories with us, some very humorous. Mitzi was humble, yet outgoing, and a blessing to our family. She knew much about her husband's side of the family, and shared their history and origins with us so we could gain a better insight into our roots. We loved Mitzi and cherished every time we could meet with her over the years in Chicago and in Idaho. May her life be a blessing to all of us and may we carry her spirit forward into future generations.
