To Mimi's daughters, family and friends,
Since Donna called me about Mimi's death, I have thought a lot about her. Her smiling face and diminutive physique were always a joy to see when she came to get togethers at my late husband's and my house in Evanston. My husband treasured spending Xmas Eves with Harold and Mimi. I was privileged to know them both. My head is filled with memories of conversations I had with Mimi, so bright and quick thinking, so compassionate and understanding of others. I was so sad to learn that she had died, but honored that I was notified. I hope to stay in touch with the family. My love and sympathy to you all,

I met Mimi and Harold in 1972, when my parents, Mary and Harry Kinser, worked on the McGovern campaign with them. In years after, I was always happy to see Mimi, because she was a lovely person with a deeply held sense of social justice. MAY HER MEMORY BE A BLESSING AND AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL.
