We were shocked to read the news of this accident in the Regional. Our son/brother was also killed by a drunk driver in almost the exact same accident on Aug. 9th while driving home from work. We understand how you must be feeling at this time and it's terrible. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Words are difficult to find when a needless death occurs. We, who are left behind experience a profound loss when an individual like Minnie is taken from us. Minnie was a friend of mine and I will miss her deeply. We shared many good times together, laughing, shopping, dinners and events. Minnie was not a complainer, she went through life with a positive attitude, a committment to her family, her career, her friends and her strong belief in her faith. I will always cherish the time we spend together.
To the Santiago Family you have my deepest sympathy.

The Sup couldn't remember my name when I first met her she would call me Yolanda and I would always correct her and tell her my name is Yvonne. One time she called me Yolanda in front of someone and they corrected her and she said why didn't you correct me I said I got tired of letting you know so I figure I know you are talking to me, She told me I looked like a Yolanda anyway but eventually she knew my name but still called me Yolanda.
She was a well like lady and will be missed by many. Sorry to see her go in a senseless accident.
