I want to thank you all for your words and sharing your memories of my uncle. I often look back at this page in my weakest moments like today. Mihalis was like a father to me, I loved him so dearly. The loss of his life has had a profound affect on me. Seeing these comments gives me great comfort and I continue to draw strength from them. Thank you friends. Any friend of my uncles, is a friend of mine. May God bless you and keep you.

To Mike's family-As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routines, may you continue to feel comforted by our great God-His grace, mercy, love and peace, and the love and support of family and friends. He was always a smiling guy, with alot of thankfulness to his customers for their business. This is shocking-I always drive by Johnny's in the morning. My husband and I would go there when we had a taste for a true Chicago dog! He will be missed by many. May thoughts and memories of Mike, for family and friends, be like stars in the night-always there, waiting to light up again. Amen.

We live around the corner from Johnny's and go there often. Mike was such a welcoming, genial and good man. Always smiling. Always kind. Always good for a conversation while I waited for food. His untimely death is a great loss to this community. I extend my sincerest condolences to his family. The world is a little less happy today.
