Michele Oates Obituary

I was lucky enough to have called Michele my friend as she was truly a remarkable person. Her ears were always open to listen and her arms were always open for hugs. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of her. Even though my heart is broken, my memories of Michele will always make me smile.

To the Oates Family:
We are so sorry to hear about Michele. Our son Andrew had Michele as a teacher in 4th grade at Pritchett and she is one teacher that we will never forget. Michele was always so warm and cared so much for her students. What a blessing. She will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers. The Sielck Family

Michele (your mom, boys) touched so many lives in a wonderful, positive way. I count my blessings that I was one of the lucky ones. I will miss her very much.

David, I feel great sympathy for you and your children. My wife, Barbara--a teacher at Aptakisic-Tripp--passed away from a similar illness in January 2003. Since then, I have participated in a number of bereavement support groups. I hope you call me for information.

Not meeting Michele, I am not sure what to say...except, that I am so sorry for your loss.
I know that you and you family have been through a series of spiritual attacks. I know that it is rough in standing firm. But, remember that God is in charge, and now, Michele is with Him and will be waiting for you. You will now need to be strong for the boys, and let them know that you have not given up. Let them be your strength. Believe that there is life after this world, and allow that to be your Hope.

to the loving memory of Michele and family we were so blessed to be able to know her and will cherish the dinner that we had with her and her family this fall when they came to minnesota. My mom and dad have lots of memories of her growing up and as an adult. We will never forget your wedding. It is still a shock to think that she is gone. Michele was such a positive,enthusiastic and caring part of the Pritchett staff. She was always empathetic to both children and adults. She will be missed by all. It was a priviledge to know her.
