Hey Snot-Rag, I miss you so much my heart aches, In faith, all I can do is to place my shattered heart in the hands of God. Loss dreams, shattered hopes, an altered future-nothing is as I had planned.

Although I'm not your biological mother you were one of the children God Blessed me with , The Love I have for you from my heart is that of a mother who is had to say good bye to her Son....Since you possessed part of my heart, your absence leaves a gaping wound.

Remember when I told you just because I'm older doesn't mean I have all the anwsers that we learn through experience, well you & I have had many, many growing experiences together some not so much fun while others were a thrill. The memory that burns in my mind is when we were Baptized together, waiting to get into the pool and freezng when we got out , sharing our cloths & towels,

I was so sad on your birthday cause my arms were empty, great quantities of tears spill from my eyes, telling of deep sorrow and unmeasurable love. Remembering my precious one has gone on a journey I cannot yet take-how wonderful for you- how lonely for me. you have gone to be with our Heavenly Father certainly having the greatest time celebrating. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart. (Psalm 34:18)In my heartache , I can turn only to God, seeking His comfort.I can see you asking him all kinds of Why? questions about your life , that brings some comfort, But I'm selfish and want you back! God can wait, but it doeasn't work like that, as God is the planner , we are his creations, I miss you so much Little Mike!!!! Often I search for an answer to "WHY?" and find none... Lashing out at God and others in my anger and pain, I pray they understand even when I do not. I can sometimes hear your voice or see you driving down the road or walking in the house with that big grin on your mug, you are everywhere this at times makes me smile while the next minute my eyes fill with tears at the reality that I'll just have to wait until God calls me home, I missed you yesterday or the day before ( I'm having trouble remembering the days) when Pop's was cleaning the pier I stood at the top of the stairs looking down expecting to see you or hear you commming out of the boat house , then God reminded me the you were with him. Remember I told you life wasn't fair. Well I wish it were yesterday, before my world crumbled around me. If only I could touch you again and take you to the movie . Dear one , you have left footprints across my heart and soul. I search for you, but....your absence is present everywhere! Everyone assures me that I will survive this lost. I wonder How?? I LOVE YOU LITTLE MIKE ........ Mom, Mommy, Cyn,

Mike words can never say how much I loved you. You were not only my son but also my best friend. I can not even think of life with out you but I have to do what I have told you in the past and my dad has told me and that’s not to feel sorry for our-selves. I know you are safe and happy now with God and Jesus, grandpa, Uncle Dick, Uncle Phil and the rest of are family that was waiting to greet you. Well mike life has to go on that’s the way god wants it. I Love You So Very Much. Dad. Or as you would say “Your Pops.”
