Thank to all who have left condolences, sympathies, well wishes, and fond memories. He will surely be missed and we are grateful he is at peace in heaven with my mom. Love to you.

Dear Anthony, Michael Jr., Charlene, and family and friends...

I wish to express my condolences to all on the passing of your father. I had the pleasure to meet Mike and enjoy his friendship for many, many years, as we were both heavily involved in Pony Baseball. (I coached and ran all the 13 & up baseball in Blue Island for 25 years in the late-1970's through the mid-1990's.) We attended so many meetings and tournaments together that it my pleasure to become fast friends with Mike and his wife Vivian. We spent many hours in the Monaco kitchen swapping stories and laughing. That's the thing I will remember most about Mike...his hearty laugh and sly grin. It was infectious...you just wanted to be around him. But most of all, I noticed how much Mike was in love with his wife and how much he loved being a father. What struck me was that after all those years of marriage Mike and Vivian were always holding hands...and I knew right then that these were special people. How lucky they were to have found each other.
I don't know why God calls people home, but just take solace in having spent time with him, remember the good times and smile. We were all lucky to spend time with him and are better for it. He was the best!

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your wonderful father. You are all in our prayers as you go forward now without the patriarch of your family, but you know you will be reunited once again someday and we hold on to that joy for the time we remain on earth. Blessings to you all.

Oh Mike, I'm so sorry to read this. I know what you're going through, let the tears flow , it's OK. I am asking for God to give you strength, I know he will. Try to keep that smile going, it will be a blessing for your family H U G S

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. Jesus wept after the death of his friend Lazarus. John 11:35. We mourn along with you. May the God who binds up the brokenhearted and comforts all who mourn sustain and surround you, until you meet again, Psalm 147:3.
