Michael C. "Mike" Hague, Sr.
TOLEDO: Michael C. "Mike" Hague, Sr., age 69, of Toledo, passed away comfortably with his family by his side on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at The Toledo Hospital. He was born on March 24, 1944 and raised by his parents Charles and Marjorie (Bechtel) Hague in Dublin, Ohio.
Mike was a graduate of Bowling Green State University. Shortly after college he started his career as a police officer, served on the Fremont Police Department and Bowling Green Police Department. In his leisure he enjoyed photography and participated with various gun clubs throughout Northwest Ohio and Michigan. He was very proud to have earned his Eagle Scout badge many years ago. He also enjoyed amateur radio, having had a station for nearly 30 years (N8EPD). Mike and his wife Juleah enjoyed traveling, especially to Tobermory, Canada.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 32 years, Juleah (Collier) Hague; step-son, Archie (Kristine) Meyers; son, Michael Hague, Jr. and daughter, Kathy Hague; precious grandchildren; siblings, Beckie and Brad.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

All our prayers and condolences to Mike's family. I have many fond memories of the times we had together with Fremont P.D., more years ago than we'd like to admit. He was a great officer, great friend, and great human being. He'll be sorely missed. On duty again, guarding the pearly gates and patrolling the streets of heaven. Well done, my friend

To Mike's family: I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Many years ago Mike, Chet Shroyer, Monte Eaton, Milt Brent, and I used to ride motorcycles together and Mike introduced us to Tobermory. We made several trips there on the bikes before Mike's accident. It is a beautiful place. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
