Kim, Lucy and Baby - I only wish I could help with some profound words of wisdom or experience to share. I can't. I can only grieve with you and know that God has a plan and at times the plan is unbearably painful and we know not why. Having suffered losses in my lifetime, I do know that God also finds a way to help us eventually understand, heal and even thrive. It takes a long time. Be patient. Take your time to grieve and question and then eventually you, too, will once again thrive. Happy memories will replace sadness. Acceptance will replace anger. New and different goals will replace old dreams.
I so wish I could be at the service but I'm leaving for Philadelphia in the morning. My thoughts and prayers will be with you the entire time.
Thank you for including me in your announcement. I am so sorry.
