Dear Donna, Susie, Joanie, & Nancy,
12/31/2006
My mom & I were wondering why we didn't get X-mas cards from Donna, so I did an internet search thinking you moved, and found Michael's obit by accident. I cried reading it because I couldn't believe it. We lost contatct long ago, but I always kept him in my thoughts. So many memories come to mind, camping at the club, hanging out in the neighborhood with "the gang", Joe D., John R., Jeff P., John R.,ect.
in the "clubhouse" in the backyard. My most memorable moment:We were about 10yrs old, Donna came & picked me up to spend the night;on the way home, Mike took my underwear out of my overnight bag and was waiving it out of the window, saying, Hey everyone, look! You know, the jokster he was. He's up there with my dad (Uncle Billy)watching over us, having a laugh or two. Take care everyone, & god bless. Always, Kandi (Fredrick) Herrera

Dear Frenzel Family,

Hearing about Michael was a horrible shock. He was a great friend to me. I have so many beautiful memories about Michael...he was a great listener and conversationalist. He had a great gift of humor. When we were together, somehow we would always end up singing our favorite songs together. He will always have a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
God Bless,
Marie

Aunt Donna,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your son and my dear cousin, Mike. As we grew up, my three brothers and I all matched the ages of your four children. So we all had a kid to play with as we celebrated family events. Mike was the one who was my age and who I spent the most time with. He was funny and made me laugh a lot. He was always in a happy mood and we had a lot of fun together.
We climbed trees and ran around your neighborhood. We found out together, how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. (a lot more than 3). We ate hamburgers at Grandma’s and rode bikes to play at a nearby park. He liked to play tricks on me too, but they weren’t mean spirited, it was his way again, to laugh and have fun.
I haven’t seen him in quite a few years. I saw Nancy this summer. I told her how much I wanted to see him again. She showed me a silly photo of him and he was cheerful as usual.
I was really looking forward to seeing him again and catching up, but that will just have to wait awhile. I am looking forward to hearing his laugh again some day. My prayers are with you Aunt Donna, Joannie, Susan and Nancy.
Love, Joyce

Frenzel Family...
I am so sorry to hear about Michael's death. The first thing that came to my mind Joannie was when we were driving down Central and you said that's Michael. I stopped the car and you ran after this poor kid who was hitchhicking for two blocks only to find out it was not Michael. We did give that scared boy a ride to where he was going and never laughed so hard. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take Care and think about good, happy memories. Love you all

Michael Frenzel family

You are in my thoughts & prayers - my heart goes out to you at this solemn time in your lives. Please be strong and take care of yourselves - he is at peace now and your days will become lighter as time heals your hearts. His light will shine even brighter than before as now he does not have the burden of the human condition to shoulder any longer. His pain, doubts, fears and uncertainty have been relieved by the love of a Higher Power. Michael will always be near you as he was never one to be easily dismissed. I will remember his goofy smile and his sense of humor the most. Peace to you all.
