Michael Eastin Obituary

Michael "Mike" Claude EASTIN Age 57, passed away at his home in Federal Way, WA on September 11, 2007. Mike is survived by his mother, Verna Eastin; sister, Donna and her husband, Charles Laine; nephews, Matthew and David Laine; girl friend, Lynne Burke and his former wife, Denese Eastin. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Donald C. Eastin, DDS. Mike worked for many years as a registered nurse in the emergency departments at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, California and at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington. Mike was an avid reader of philosophy and political science, and enjoyed the arts, particularly ballet and opera. Private services were held in Washington. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to the Employee Emergency Assistance Fund, Franciscan Foundation, PO Box 1502, Tacoma, WA 98401-1502.
