Dwyer, Michael F. Veteran of Korean War, native of Chafpool County Sligo, Ireland. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee McGreal), loving father of Colleen Egan and Bridget (William) Cadogan, cherished grandfather of Kristin, Connor, Sheila, Katrina, Kylie, Emily and Maddie. Funeral service Wednesday, from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th, Oak Lawn, to St. Gerald Church for Mass and time to be determined. Interment Abraham Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Retired from Teamsters Local 710. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Edward Hines Veterans Administration Hospital, c/o Volunteer Services, Hines, IL 60141, would be appreciated. 708-425-0500.

Losing someone is never easy, even though we knew this day would come. He put up a good fight, and now he is at peace.
Everyone that knew Michael was touched by his generosity, loving spirit, and wonderful sense of humor.
My deepest sympathy to his family.
