Michael Bustillos Obituary

Michael passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2007 in Dallas, TX. He was born in El Paso, TX on March 17, 1980. He was a 1998 graduate of Eastwood High School and received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2004. He served as Assistant Band Director at Bryan Adams High School in Dallas since September 2004. "Mr. B" touched so many lives with his gift of playing, writing, and teaching music. He was the "heart" of his family and will be missed greatly by friends and family who were inspired by his unique drive for life. He is survived by his baby girl, Ysabel "Ysa" M. Bustillos (20 months), wife, Carisa Wilson Bustillos, parents, Robert and Teresa Gallardo, parents, Miguel and Bertha Bustillos, sisters, Christine and Cynthia Gallardo, brother, Martin Gallardo, maternal grandmother, Maria de Jesus Garcia, and paternal grandparents, Martin and Antonia Gallardo. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2007 from 4-9pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, located at 750 N. Carolina, with a Vigil at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 11 am on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, located at 2301 Zanzibar Rd. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
