My God be with you and all of us that new Mike during his life. I first met him working for the DeKalb County Planning Department. We were Draftsmen and our stations were next to each other. This was 1979 and we got to know each other very well. He was so smart and skilled to be so young. I was always impressed with his abilities and learned from him. My wife Margie and I always had and will have a very special place in our hearts for him. We drifted away from each other over the years due to changing jobs but I always though of him.
Mike, I miss your laugh, smile, friendship and just knowing that you were around since I recently moved into your neighborhood. I am happy you were a part of my life.

My deepest sympathy to the Bowens family in their time of bereavement. I remember Michael from the old neighborhood and at Bass High School. May the grace of God be with you all at this time.
