April 23, 1925 - May 17, 2009
Merry Takeuchi, 84 of Stockton, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009 in a local hospital. Born on April 23, 1925 in Tacoma, WA, she was a high school graduate and a clerk with the Board of Equalization for 20 years. A member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and the JACL.
She was preceded in death by her husband George K. Takeuchi. Merry is survived by her children Georgia (Shoji) H. Wada of Mountain View, CA, Merilyn (Kenji) Fujimoto of Fremont, CA, Bonnie (Clifford) Hatanaka and Connie Takeuchi all of Stockton. Grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 3. Sister of Stogie Toki of OH and Aya Johnson of WA.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 3 p.m. in the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way at Beckman Rd., Lodi. Rev. Donna Alora officiating. Visitation hours Friday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home. Max Carroll assisting the family. Please sign our
