I was so sad to hear about Mel's passing. I worked with Mel at IF&P for 5 years up until this passed April.

Mel was an incredible man with an incredible outlook on life. I remember a conversation we had when he was faced with his treatment options. He said "Marianne, hell yes I am going to fight it, I am not ready to leave my wife and family" I am humbled by his bravery and strength in fighting his illness. He battled it like a champ.
He was so incredibly proud of his grandchildren and loved to share stories of their accomplishments. They had a great role model. He was a great man.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I have dealt with Mel in business for over 30 years, first while working for R.H. Creager, Inc. and now with National Filter Media. Mel always made me laugh and made you feel happy just when he walked in the room with his boisterous personality. He will be missed.
