Missy was such a sweet and kind person. Though we knew each other at temple, we only became friends at college. She was such a positive and happy person, always with that great smile and bright eyes. Missy was so nice! The world was a better place with Missy in it. I am so sorry that her life was cut so short.

Dear Glenn and Hannah-
Thank you for sharing Missy with us. We know you didn't have enough time with her, but the memories of the times you had will keep her with you, and with us, forever.

Dear Glenn ~
I don't expect that you will remember me; I am Mark Weiss -- Roger's brother.
I certainly remember you because you had made quite an impression at Roger & Nancy's wedding. In any event, I'm typically good at expressing my feelings and thoughts. But, the words I need to express my grief at your loss have eluded me. Roger kept me current with Melissa's ordeal over the last couple of years. Still, my heart broke and my spirit was dampened when I heard the news. I know Life will never be the same for you and Hannah. So, until the sun comes out again for you, may your healing be timely, swift, and filled with loving kindness. I will hold you, Melissa, and Hannah in my heart for a long time.

Dear Glen,

To Melissa's friends and family,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Missy. I lived with Missy for two years at Michigan and whenever I think of her, I remember her amazingly huge smile and twinkling eyes. She was always so full of energy and I always admired her enthusiasm and positive attitude. What an amazing person she was! Even while she battled lung cancer the past 6 years, she still accomplished so much for her family and others suffering from lung cancer. May her memory be a blessing, her selflessness be an example to us all and may her legacy be that a cure is found for lung cancer soon through the assistance of Lungevity and her lobbying eforts. Missy was an inspiration to us all, I will never forget her.

Words cannot express what I feel about your loss of Missy. I met Missy thru my daughter-in-law Sandy Raitt years ago. She was an extraordinary young woman who was truly a blessing G-d put on this earth, even though he gave her to you for too short a time here. She accomplished much in her time on earth, of which you may always be proud.
May Glenn, dear Hannah, her parents the Lumbergs, be comforted with other mourners in Zion.
Always try to remember that while she was here too few years, you were blessed to have her and she, was blessed to have you. I truly beleive she will always be with you if not in body, in spirit.
With love,
Eudice Germaine
