I met Melissa through my best friend, Wanda Perez, her cousin, about 27 years ago. We were just kids then, and as far as I remember Melissa she was always a happy child with the most beautiful smile. Always friendly, Melissa was not only beautiful but smart. I will always remember her that way. I still can't believe that I nor any of us who loved you will not see that bright as the sun smile that lights up anybody's heart, anymore. You will live in our hearts forever and ever. May God bless you as you go through the gates of heaven. You will be missed dearly. Good bye and until we meet again...

To my beautiful niece - I will treasure the memories I have of you forever. The times when I first held you up by the door when you were a baby so you would play with the lock - that was such an amazement to you. After a few years passed I saw you come back again with that wonderful smile and I pictured you as a baby I once held in my arms, you had became a beautiful young woman. The Lord has his purpose for all his children, you are with our Almighty father in heaven, no more worries, no more pain here on earth. Your peace and joy begins now in heaven, when you see my mom, dad, Domingo and Cencia, you will bring such joy to them, you make sure you give them a big hug and kiss for me. I will have you in my heart for always. Rest in peace my sweet niece, you will be missed.

With sympathy, your uncle Jose (Tite)

Maria, Tita, Savannah and Family,

It is with heartfelt sorrow I send you my sympathy. I am married to her uncle (Tite) and the first time I met her she was such a friendly and warm person, her smile would brighten up any room, she was beautiful, warm hearted, and a wonderful mom. May sweet memories of Melissa give you and family peace and comfort, know that she is in the kingdom of the lord - may her soul rest in peace. God Bless. With love, Marie, Tite, Jose Jr., Xavier, and Chris

It is very unfortunate to lose Melissa. Everytime I spoke to her she was always happy and full of energy. She was a beautiful woman and I'm sorry I couldn't spend more time with her. My prayer is that she rest in peace. I also pray for her daughter, that she may be able to have loving people surrounding her. All we can do is thank God for the short time she had on this earth.

God Bless

I met Melissa by way of her cousin Lucy Perez, which means I knew her for about 4 years. In those 4 years, Melissa touched my life with that bright wonderful smile and always made me feel as if I was a part of the family. Melissa was loud and Melissa was bossy!!!! But that was OUR Melissa. She will be missed and always loved!

Maria and Mom:

Throughout the struggles, there were many happy times with Melissa, my beautiful niece. I loved her unconditionally and will miss her deeply. God lifted her from this troubled world so that she would not have to suffer anymore. That's how much He loved her. God bless the family.
