Ferber, Maxene (nee Cohen), beloved wife of the late Jerry, loving mother of Bryce, Deven (Leanne), Devora (Allen) Glazer, Jalene (Edward) Buckner and the late Serena, adored grandmother of Jaret, Mitchell, Sara, Jesse, Adam, Jenna and Halle, dear sister of Elsie (Bernard) Weiss, Bashie (Melvin) Pinkham, Mitchell (Barbara) Cohen and the late Sophie (the late Edward) Simon, and Solomon (Sarah) Cohen, cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Graveside service Sunday, 10 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, Chicago. I was truly sorry to hear about your mother. Although I never met her, I'm sure she was a fine woman.
Can anyone properly console you for your loss? How wise were our Sages when they advised us to bless the mourner with the blessing "May the Al-mighty console you . . ." for true consolation is beyond human ability.
May the Omnipresent console you amongst the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.
