Maude Rawlings Obituary

Rawlings, Maude Odessa The homegoing service for Maude Odessa Rawlings, born April 29, 1922, will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009, the wake/visitation is at 9:00 a.m. and funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at First New Life Baptist Church, 900 N. Waller Ave., Chicago, IL, with Pastor Kirk L. Gayton officiating. Public viewing is also scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2009, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 5515 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL. 773-378-2232. Maude Odessa was a faithful member of the First New Life Church Mothers Board until her illness. Left to cherish her memory are four daughters, Frances Morris of Bremerton, WA, Patricia Merriweather, and Marie Burris both of Chicago, IL, and June Jones of Chillum, MD, 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
