Granpa lived a long life full of great accomplishments, that I know I can only imagine achieving as much. I can remember when Grandpa and Grandma use to come and fill up the water jugs with our water and bring fresh dunkin donuts or Grandma's pecan rolls. In Panama City Beach when we used to have Easter egg hunts and they would stand around while all thier grandchildren and great-grandchildren hunted in the sand. I remember Grandpa always asking me how swimming was going and always encouraging me to NEVER give up and always try me best. I can remember one of my proudest moments as a swimmer, at my senior swim meet, Unlce Matt and Grandpa came and sat on deck and I watched as Grandpa was so in to the meet, watching every swimmer and then watching me get my best time at that point in the season and telling me how proud he was of me. I was so honored to have him there to see me swim. This past weekend when I was home from Tampa and able to see him one final time with all of our family around. As ill as he was, he seemed happy to have us all together there with him like we used to do at the leaf-raking party way back when. I am gald I was able to see him one last time. I will always remember what an amazing life he lived and the love he brought to our family. He is know another angel we have to watch over us with Grandma and Aunt Peggy. I persoanlly think the Lord is lucky with those 3 angels! I love you Grandpa and will always remember you in my heart. Say hi to all our other angels up there in heaven. -
