Mary Reidy Obituary

Reidy, Mary T. late of Chicago, dear sister of the late Joseph (Adele-Ethel), Dorothea (Peter) Gilligan, Edward (Dorothy), Gerald (the late Cynthia), Margaret (the late Dennis) Church, the late John (Mary) and Patricia (Frank) McNamara, loving and devoted aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews, wonderful Godmother of Tom Gilligan, Jerry McNamara and Kilty Reidy. Mary loved to travel, teach, and read. She worked for many years as an editor of children's books and loved teaching kids how to read. She was a wonderful hostess and welcome guest at family and gatherings around the country. We invite family and friends to join us for a Memorial and Luncheon in Celebration of Mary's life at noon on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Jenny's Steakhouse, 5800 W. 111th St., Chicago Ridge, IL.
