Mary Noonan Obituary

It's nearly a year since my Aunt Mary passed away. I love you always. With losing my dad, and your brother, I'm sure you are both in Heaven telling some great stories. God bless you, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa. I will never forget you.

To the Noonan Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you comfort in the days ahead.

I only just heard- I attended grade school with Patrick.

My dear Aunt Mary was a beautiful woman inside and out. Wasn't she a beauty? Love you!

Aunt Mary always supported me and my sister.  She always laughed and made me laugh.  It was such a happy time when we visited her and Uncle Garry.  I'm just so sorry it has been years since we saw each other.  She was always in my thoughts and prayers.  I weep for each of you who will miss this sweet woman, mother, wife, grandma, friend.  I love you, Aunt Mary!

What more can be said about such a wonderful woman? Mary took me under her wing, encourged and guided me and saw such potential in me ~ she made me who I am today. I thank her for that!

She was a very special lady ~ I loved her infectious laughter and had the pleasure of enjoying good times with her at work and at home ~ She tried to teach me to play poker and I really couldn't get the hang of it ~ I still can't play poker!! I really think she wanted me to play just to laugh at me and win all my money!

All I know is that when I grow up ~ I want to be just like her. My heart goes out to the family, my deepest condolences to Gary, Jack, Ed and Pat ~ your Mom was the greatest. I loved her so much! She will be deeply missed.

Mom, we miss you already. I'm trying to do the right things for the family. I'm looking after dad. Margaret did a great job at your memorial. So many family and friends were there remembering what a great mom and friend you were. Love you Bushells, Jack & Eve

I never knew her as Mary, just Grandma Noonan, and just like my grandma - God rest her soul - she always made me feel welcome in her home. I will miss those moments when you didn't see the pain on her face but the twinkle in her eye while she remembered the good 'ole days in the Rustic Manor in Gurnee. That's how I'll choose to remember her.

I'm being selfish when I say, that I want 5 minutes of laughter with her.I want to cup my hand and smack it on my leg to annoy her one last time, and to hear her voice say"Billy, come hear so I can smack you one". Mary, you were like a mother to me and as I type this I'm crying for losing you. You were so good to me. You treated me like I was one of your own. You'll be missed dearly.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I will always remember coming through the backdoor on Damen Avenue and into the kitchen when we were kids and your mom saying "how ya doin' or what the hell are you boys up to?"
