Mary Mekalunas Obituary
Mary Jane Mekalunas (nee VanderWall), age 77. Beloved wife of James W. Mekalunas. Loving daughter of the late Ralph R. and the late Rosamond E. (nee Woller) VanderWall. Mary is a 1963 graduate of the Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mary worked for many years at United States Fidelity and Guarantee Insurance Company in downtown Chicago. She also worked in the Coins and Stamps Department for Marshall Field & Company in downtown Chicago as well. Visitation Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a Chapel Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Richard-Midway Funeral Home, 5749 Archer Ave. (corner of Lorel). Private cremation.
