Aunt Mary Belle was the only great-aunt I ever met on my mother's side. I have very fond memories of just a few afternoons visiting in her fabulously well-appointed parlor. She was so different from my grandmother (her older sister). Both were loving, firm, true survivors, but Mary Belle had a sense of humor and grace that inspires me to this day (and it's been well over 20 years since our last visit). Long live her spirit!

Dear Family of Mary Belle,
Mary Belle was a dear friend. I told her that I wanted to be like her when I grew up. I miss her.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Carla Kay
