Peters (nee DeGrado), beloved wife of the late Bill Mavros, loving mother of Peter and the late Kristina, beloved daughter of Lena and the late Michael, proud grandmother of John, Stelios, PJ, Kristina, Christina, dear sister of Jimmy, Steve, Tommy, Lenny, Josey, dear sister-in-law of Robbie, Sandy, Geri, Ernie and Perry, fond aunt of Rosie, Mike, Bobby, John, Regina, Nikki, Michael, Stevie, Kimberly, Michael, Jimmy, Michael, Yvette, Lena and Natalie, great aunt of Alex, Thomas, Cydney, Samuel, Alec, Stevie, Isabelle and many more. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. at Hills Funeral Home, Ltd., 10201 S. Roberts Rd. (8000W.), Palos Hills. Funeral Friday beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home to S.S. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, servive 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Leukemia Research Foundation (820 Davis St., Evanston, IL, 60201). Mary, for the very short time that I have known you I thought of you as an angel. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my Aunt Dorathy. You were like a sister to her in so many ways. Watch over her up there in heaven.
