Chris Ann Marcum of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away August 26, 2025. She was 67. A small, private ceremony celebrated her life.
With a degree in microbiology from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Chris had the mind of a scientist and a sharp eye for numbers. But she also had the heart of an artist, as evidenced by the collections she curated for SchweizMar Antiques.
Her absence has created a big hole in the lives of those she left behind. We remember her thoughtfulness, dedication and enduring patience along with her great stories of adventures with friends and family.
She is survived by her mother, Joan (Schweizer) Marcum; her sister, Kim Marcum; and her nieces Emma Boslet, MD, and Tess Boslet.
