Mary Kage Obituary

Mary Frances Kage, age 64, of Tippecanoe, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2006, in Mercy Medical Center of Canton, Ohio after an extended illness with heart and kidney disease. She was born on September 29, 1941 in Romeo, Michigan to the late Harold Elijah White and Velma Regina (Smith) White.

Mary grew up and attended school in Romeo where she enjoyed being a cheer leader and graduated from Romeo High School in 1959. After high school she attended IBM school in Detroit, Michigan. She devoted her time as a home maker caring for her family and enjoyed her flower gardens, traveling, camping and boating as well as the outdoors. She has resided in Indiana, Georgia and Ohio throughout the years.

Mary is survived by her husband Arthur Donald Kage to whom she married on February 13, 1960 in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washington, Michigan, a daughter Tammy Sue and husband Patrick Steven Helwig of Zoar, Ohio, a son Daniel Arthur Kage and friend Dena Locker of Bolivar, Ohio, grand-daughters; Adreanna Nicole, and Rachel Marie Helwig of Zoar, Ohio and a grandson Patrick Arthur Helwig of Zoar, Ohio, a brother Brian Sadaj of Romeo, Michigan, a sister Audrey Shanlan of Menominee, Michigan and a step sister Michele Sadaj. Preceded in death in addition to her parents are a grand-daughter Alicia Frances Helwig, sister; Sandra Schoenherr, a step father Mike Sadaj.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006, at 11:00am in the Lebold Funeral Home, 248 Park Ave. SW, Bolivar, Ohio where there will be calling hours from 10:00am to time of service. Officiating is Rev. Chauncey Eggan and burial will take place in Ft. Laurens Cemetery, Bolivar, Ohio. Donation can be made to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 163549, Columbus, Ohio 43216-3549 or the Kidney Foundation of Ohio, Inc., 2831 Prospect Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115. Art. I sorry for the loss of Mary. You have my deepest sympathy.

I planned to attend the service, but, received an emergency call to take a person to the hospital Saturday morning. Did not get out of there until about 11 am.



Mary name was mentioned at Sacred Heart Church at all masses this week end.
