Mary Ann (Leslie) Hudson
Chandler, Ind. — Mary Anne (Leslie) Hudson, 80, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011, at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Ind. She was a member of the Cypress Missionary Baptist Church, which was a very big part of her life. Mary Anne was completely devoted to her husband of 41 years, Robert. Although she had no children, she considered all of her nieces and nephews as her own. She loved reading books. Mary Anne was also a house mother for many years at the Louisville Children's Home in Louisville, Ky., and she worked in the billing department at St. Mary's Medical Center for almost 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert of Chandler Ind.; one sister, Pat Hunter and her husband, Robert of Boonville, Ind., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delcus and Dulcia Leslie; one brother, Tom Leslie; and sisters, Wanda Sue Gore, Betty Pace, Carolyn Johnson and Lucille Callis. Services for Mary Anne will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011, from Bradley's Colonial Chapel in Boonville with burial in the Center Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Terry Flowers will officiate.
