Gergely, Mary H. age 71, of DeMotte, IN, born June 28, 1930 in Chicago, passed away March 3, 2002, beloved wife of the late Richard G. Gergely, loving mother of Richard (Dawn) Gergely of DeMotte, IN, Joanne Zeimetz of DeMotto, IN; grandmother of Kristen Zeimetz, Jeramy Gergely, Kevin Gergely; sister of Carmella Oreskivich of Oak Lawn, IL, and Joan (Frank) Messina of Evergreen Park, IL. preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Sarah Cairo. Mary had been a resident of DeMotte since 1995. She was raised in Chicago and was a graduate of the Hirsh High School. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Catholic Faith. On April 7, 1956 in Chicago she married Richard G. Gergely who preceded her in death on December 5, 1987. Visitation at Jackson Funeral Home, Service Demotte, Indiana on Thursday, from 3 to 8 p.m. Services Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2002.
