Mary Franklin Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Franklin, 80, died, Saturday, October 16, 2004 at Heritage Park Nursing Home Ms. Franklin a longtime resident of Savannah and a1943 graduate of Alfred E. Beach High School. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church Of Christ where she served as a deaconess. She worked as an L.P.N. at the former Charity Hospital from 1943 until it closed. Also, She worked at Memorial Medical Health University Hospital and Georgia Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Harriett Franklin. She is survived by a loving sister, Lavinia Franklin Bailey; two devoted godsisters, Laura Derrick Webb and Sara Derrick Herring all of Savannah and many dear friends.
