Mary Fitzpatrick Obituary

NILES, Ohio — Mary D. Fitzpatrick, 93, of 402 Lincoln Way, Niles, Ohio, formerly of Plattsburgh, N.Y., died at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at her daughter's residence.

Mary was born Feb. 3, 1913, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the daughter of Alexander and Cecile (Telestone) Aubin.

She was employed as a nurse's aide in Plattsburgh County Home and Physicians Hospital for 20 years, a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, several bowling leagues at McKinley and Crest Lanes and enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting and fishing.

Her husband, Lawrence Fitzpatrick, whom she married Aug. 3, 1931, died March 26, 1990.

She will be deeply missed by two sons, Roger Fitzpatrick and his wife Helen of Rainbow Lake, N.Y., and Timothy Fitzpatrick and his wife Maureen of Bath, Ohio; two daughters, Gail Buck and her husband Frank Thompson of Deltona, Fla., and Patricia Rufh, with whom she made her home; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son, Thomas Fitzpatrick; two grandsons, Michael Rufh and Brett Fitzpatrick; a granddaughter, Jonelle Buck; three brothers; and three sisters.

Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the 2:30 p.m. funeral service on Saturday at the Joseph Rossi Funeral Home in Niles.

A memorial Mass will be held in Plattsburgh at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to Forum Health Hospice in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi Funeral Home in Niles, Ohio.
