Mary was my cousin. As kids we played and did all the things city kids did back in the 50´s and 60´s. We all played baseball in the empty lot next to her house and she was good.
I will always remember her as young, never growing old.

Hard to believe it's already been a year. Mary and I had a special connection. When she heard I was going into the Air Force she called and asked what I was doing. I told her I needed to leave the house and she understood. When I got sent overseas she was the one who took me to the airport to see me off. When I was stationed out here in California and got the word my dad had died and was told someone would pick me up at the airport Mary was there to meet me. When I saw her I said "I knew it was going to be you." I sad to say we didn't stay in touch to much but when I came back to Chicago to visit we stopped by her house on the way to the ballpark and were told she was at the game. Johnny knew were she was and she got the shock of her life when I walked up and gave her a hug. We had a great time talking and it was like we had only been apart a short while. I miss her alot.

I can't believe my sister in Mary has left us. There are no words to explain the emptiness in my life her absence will create. Loving, generous, caring, the first one there in a crisis, always hands and heart open. That is only scratching the surface. I will forever miss you my dear Mary but am grateful that God has ended your suffering. Be blessed. Love Pat

Dear Rich & Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Mary was such a wonderful
person. We bowelled together many years ago & became very good friends & even when we moved out of the neighborhood we remained very good friends. She is at peace now after having that horrible disease & now with her family. May God give you all the strength to go on without her.
With Sincere Sympathy
