Mary Cullinane Obituary

Mrs. Mary E. Cullinane 64, of Bassett Street Lynn died on Sunday following a lengthy illness. She is the wife of Thomas Cullinane with whom she shared more than 42 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, daughter of the late Stephen and Alice (Cronin) Connolly she is a graduate of St. Mary's High School, class of 1958 and had also attended Boston College.
A lifelong resident of the city, she had worked as an E.K.G. Technician at Union Hospital and the former Lynn Hospital retiring in 2003 after 32 years of service.
Mrs. Cullinane was a member of the Healing Garden at Union Hospital. A great cook and a connoisseur of fine teas, she was well known for her tea parties. She was an avid reader, she enjoyed floral designing and vacationing in the Caribbean.
In addition to her husband, she leaves 3 sons, Thomas J. Cullinane Jr. of Lynn and his wife Teresa, Timothy C. Cullinane of Swampscott and his wife Maureen and Terrence M. Cullinane of Lynn, one daughter Mary E. Doyle of Nahant and her husband Kendrick.
Sister of Stephen Connolly of Melrose and his wife Patricia and Eleanor Alvarez of Arnold MD. and her husband Dr. Sergio Alvarez. Grandmother of Megan, Sarah, Bridget and Catherine Cullinane. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Sister of the late Dr. Thomas F. Connolly and Sr. Alice Connolly C.S.J.
Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street Lynn on Friday at 10;00 am. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church at 11:00 am. Interment at a later date.
