To the nieces and nephews of whom Mary K. was so proud. We worked at the OPRFHS 25 years with Mary K. and shared her pride of family with each other. Lavon's first contact with Mary K. was as a new Dean to the school Mary K. welcomed her with a gift of an athletic whistle to keep those kids in line!)and her warm wishes for a happy stay at OPRFHS. As the years progressed Mary K. spent part of summer vacations with Lavon at a cabin in Colorado with other friends from the staff of OPRFHS. Earl served on many committees with Mary K -- always very positive and ending with a sense of accomplishment. The OPRFHS students we all shared were all the richer for having had Mary K. as a teacher! We (Lavon and Earl) have lost a very important friend.
