Mary Boyd Obituary

77, of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Walpole, MA, died Sunday, July 2, 2006 at the Life Care Center of Punta Gorda, FL. Born August 28, 1928 in New York City, NY, Mary, a retired service representative for New England Telephone & Telegraph, moved to Bradenton from Walpole, MA 10 years ago with her husband Raymond. She was of Roman Catholic faith. She is survived by her beloved husband Raymond J. Boyd, and three children, son Paul R. Boyd of Falls Church, VA, daughters Jacquie M. Hedger of Lander, WY and Jeanne B. Shea of Lake Forest, IL; two brothers, Patrick Burke of Boston, MA and Francis Burke of Natick, MA; one granddaughter, one grandson and five nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 PM Thursday, July 6 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda. A Memorial Mass and committal will be held at a later date in MA. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimers Disease Clinical & Research Program Boston University School of Medicine, Attn: Catherine, Administrative Manager, 715 Albany St., B-7800 Boston, MA 02118. Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to sign the guestbook and extend condolences to the family. Arrangements by Roberson Funeral Home, Punta Gorda, FL.
