Mary Belmont Obituary

Belmont, Mary Dorothy Age 91, of Highwood, Illinois passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Sunrise Assisted Living Center, Buffalo Grove. Born July 8, 1921 and raised in Winnetka, Illinois she graduated from New Trier High School class of 1940 and retired from the Canteen Corporation, Chicago after 25 years of service. She has been a resident of Highwood since 1955 and was a member of the Highwood Library Board for 5 years an election judge for 25 years and was a member of St. James Church, Highwood, the Sacred Heart Guild of St. James Church and the former Cuore Arte Club. Mary was an avid card player. Dear sister of the late John (late Betty) Belmont, late Ernest (late Dorothy) Belmont, late Frank "Sheik" (late Ann) Belmont, late Eugene (late Ann) Belmont, late Louise (late Ernest) Tripp, late James E. Sr. (Gloria White) Belmont, late Helen Belmont Amendola (late Earl Amendola) and late Louis (Sharon) Belmont; dear aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Special appreciation to nephew, James E. (Barbara) Belmont, Jr. of Huntley, Illinois for their loving and caring devotion to his aunt. And a cousin Jean (Thomas) Quirk.
