Dear Marie, Tish, Catherine, Noreen, Patrick and Betty,

We were so sad to hear of the death of your mother. Aunt Mary was the sweetest lady we ever knew and will be missed by many. We only have one Mother in this world, and not everyone is blessed with such a special one as you were.
Now when we get together it is difficult for us not to talk about the years growing up. We often laugh until we cry remembering our childhood. Your mother and mine were a huge part of those wonderful years. The two Mary Barron's became famous for their incredible feasts, but most importantly the love they shared. Family came first for them and they enjoyed seeing us together, perhaps more than we may have realized. As children we did not understand what a “labor of love" it was for them to be the hostess of so many parties. They wanted us to be together and were willing to work for it. Their endless hours of helping, fixing, mending and loving us seemed never enough for them. They always thought they should do more.
Your mom was not only a great aunt but a great friend to my mother. She was a gentle, quiet woman with a huge heart and had an infectious laugh. She loved to laugh and enjoyed hearing jokes, especially my father’s.
I will always be grateful for her for giving us so many wonderful memories. Our times together as cousins will forever be a part of us and we have our mothers to thank.
We must remember what they taught us about family and how important it is to forgive and love each other. They were great examples of our "faith in action" and this is their legacy. Today we are comforted in knowing that they are together peacefully in Heaven with their Savior Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother.

May the Angels lead her into Paradise.
May the Martyrs receive her at her coming and take her to Jerusalem, the Holy City.
May the Choirs of the Angels receive her, and may she, with the once poor Lazarus, have rest everlasting.
Amen. -
With Love,
Kathleen, Terry, Maeve and Nell
