Mary Anders Obituary

ANDERS, MARY LOU Nov. 15, 1938 to Sept. 19, 2007 Survived by husband Jerry, daughter Valeri Dugan and the lights-of-her life, granddaughters Jenna, Kelly, and Leanne Dugan. She loved children, animals, gardening and helping people. During her career in lending, she helped hundreds of people with their finances at local credit unions for over three decades. She was a figure skating judge at So. California events for several years. After retiring, Mary Lou continued to help as a volunteer at University Hospital and for the City schools SAY Program. She will be missed by many. Arrangements have been made at El Camino Mortuary. No services by her request. Special thanks to all who have responded their condolences so warmly. Mary Lou meant the world to me! So thankful I was blessed by knowing her most of my life. She will be very missed, but not forgotten!

Jerry-You probably don't remember me--I worked with Mary Lou many years ago at the Credit Union on Park Blvd with Janet Tackett and Candi-Just glancing through the paper and I saw Mary Lou's name--I'm sorry to hear of your loss and just wanted to let you know I thought the world of Mary Lou she was a special person.
