Marvin Comer Obituary
Graveside services with full military rites will be held today, Dec. 16, 2007 at 2 p.m. the Sunset Memorial Park Pavilion with Chaplain (Major) Bryan Simoneaux and Rev. Bill Bastien officiating.
Mr. Comer was born Sept. 23, 1933, in Ravenwood, Mo., and lived the early years of his life there. Most of Msg/Ret Comer's military career was served with the 82nd airborne division at Ft. Bragg, NC. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served two tours of duty. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Comer of Dothan, a son, Dwight Comer of Pleasant View, Tenn.; a daughter, Susan Comer of Dothan; one grandson, Andrew Comer of Pleasant View, Tenn.; a brother, Jim Comer of Irving, Texas.
