Uncle Marty was truly one of a kind. His sparkling personality influenced all who met him. His love for life was surpassed only by his love of family. When one heard laughter, one was sure to find my Uncle. The sky will be a little brighter since he'll be watching over all of us.
Deepest sympathy to Aunt Geri, the children and grandchildren.
Love,
Mary Margaret

I have never known a man who was admired by more people than Marty. His natural warmth and exuberant personality endeared people to him. I cannot say it any better than the touching eulogies given by his friends and family. We will miss him, but we are all better off for having known him.

To all Marty's friends signing the guset book:
Dad was a great man who left a legacy. He was my best friend, my hero and my father. He was also the most influential person in my life and the lessons he taught me about honesty and integrity will be with me forever. Thanks for your kind words and for caring about Dad and his family. We will all be fine as he left us rich with wonderful memories. Dad I will never forget you.

My sincere condolences to the Keane family.
I enjoyed playing golf with Marty because he was always so competitive. If it wasn't on the course he would get you on the putting green. I lost many quarters to him, but he sure made me sharpen my putting game.
I hope God has a lot of quarters put away. Marty is going to give him a run for his money. When you notice them taking a extra collection at Sunday service. You'll know Marty is ahead. God bless him.

Marty was an incredibly nice man. I had lunch with Jack and Marty a couple of times, and found him to be, well, just a very nice man. I am truly sorry for your loss. Alec Rexroat, Illinois Regional Insulation Contractors Association.
