Avila Jr., Martin "Marty" age 42, passed away suddenly August 15, 2003, late of South Deering, beloved son of Mary Ellen and Martin Avila Sr., loving brother of Mike (Maritza) Avila, Mary (Jay) Latasiewicz, Mona and Lola Avila, Ray (Carrie) and Gilbert Avila, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Marine Corps Veteran. Employee of City of Chicago. Visitation Tuesday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., to St. Kevin Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. 773-731-2749

Our Thoughts and prayers are with Marty's family. My brothers, Salvador and Ramiro were good friends with Marty (and his family) Marty spent alot of time at our house. We have many good memories of him....AND LOT'S OF STORIES!!
