I was in my late twenties when Dr Bell referred me to Dr Dickholtz. The drive from Crystal Lake to his office was painful since I was overdue for an adjustment. I have described many times to folks over the years how I´d feel the adjustment down my spine during my ride home.
I would be scolded when I arrived in pain and know it was because Dr D was passionate about his patients welfare.
I just learned today of his passing. I pray is resting in peace.

I was in one of the last classes of Palmer that Dr Dickholtz came as a guest speaker for the NUCCA club. I practice in Oklahoma now. I had a patient walk in last week, from out of town, but needed a correction. She said she has been under NUCCA care for years. I asked where she got her listing, that she carried in her purse. She stated, she started with a guy in Chicago by the name of Dr Dickholtz. I said, "The Legend"?! It is amazing to see how many people he affected. Thank You!

I AM so grateful to Dr. Marshall Dickholtz, Sr. for having such a wonderful son, Dr. Marshall Dickholtz, Jr., who saved my life many years ago! My atlas was severely tipped and Dr. Marshall Dickholtz, Jr. made me aware and corrected my problem! I probably would have been a cripple if my problem wasn't corrected when it was!
God Bless the entire Dickholtz Family!

My whole family started under care with Dr. Dickholtz in 1959. Our shift towards health was deep and lasting. Both my brother Marv and I started in chiropractic practice due to his influence within the following few years. We were able to extend the impact with countless hundreds in the many decades following the '60s. That single action of my father going to him and then bringing in the family had a lifelong impact on us and hundreds of others.

I greatly valued all his knowledge and all the help he gave me in correcting my alignment problems. I enjoyed talking with him and I could tell he liked sharing his ideas with me. I really miss him.

I remember meeting Dr Dickholz and his family at a NUCCA Seminar in Atlanta in 2002. He was a good teacher and he had a sense of humor. I remember one student saying to him "I have a question for you, Dr". Dr Dickholz replied "Ask me anything...just dont ask me about my love life! Thats personal" The whole class burst out laughing. God bless you Sir for your long illustrious career, for helping so many get well, for your dedication to chiropractic, research and development of the upper cervical approach. Fly with the angels!

To Mrs. Dickholtz, Dr. Sherri and Dr. Marshall: I am so sorry to hear about yur dad. He was truly a gift to chiropractic and to you. I still remember the good times at the diner table and his constant talks about NUCCA and how not to wash the dishes. My thoughts and prayers go to you, all big hugs and kisses. He will be missed by the profession and by all who knew him. I am honored to have known him on the personal level. Love you all. Dr. Lynn Walsh

We are very sorry to learn of Marshall's passing. He was a great friend for so many years and he will be deeply missed. Sadly, we are in California until the end of the month and are unable to attend the visitation and services.
