Though I hadn't had contact with Marsha for many many years I'm more shocked than I can express. We went through elementary school together and among other children she was always a star. I can still see her on the playground tossing baseballs or running the fifty yard dash and whether competing in a track meet or a spelling bee she was always at the head of the pack.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. For many years, I worked with Marsha at the Orange County Register, where she was one of the friendliest and smartest people in the newsroom. She was someone I was GLAD to seek out and work with when there were issues to resolve. She was a special lady, and she'll be very much missed.

To the Bosley Family,
I wish to convey my sympathies on the passing of Marsha. I am an old friend from way back when she was editor of The Ohio State Lantern staff. She got the editor's job for a reason. She was the best. More important than being a dedicated and talented journalist, she was a good person and friend. I regret that my only contact with her in recent years was a few phone calls two years ago. But I wanted to let her family know there are many of us old Lantern staffers whose lives were enriched by having known Marsha.

For more than 35 years Bos has been a part of my life. The memories are so many and so wonderful from the taco bell-dairy queen and dunkin doughnut feeding frenzy (yes, in one night) to being a member of my wedding party to coming to spend some quality time with our favorite GH stars at Disneyland. I will miss you my dear friend and will keep you in a special place in my heart. You are and always will be the best!
I love you and I miss you.

I had the great fortune to know Marsha for 23 years, first as my editor, and later as a wonderful friend. It's hard to believe she's gone. I have a wonderful memory of sitting with Marsha at a Yankees-Mariners game in Seattle (all the while wishing it were Wrigley and the Cubs), then going back to the Westin and sitting in the lobby bar and watching the fans chase the Yankees around the hotel. She was a terrific journalist, a nice person and a great friend, and we will greatly miss her.
