Marlene M. (nee Martic) late of Chicago, IL. Beloved wife of George F. Moone for 41 Years. Devoted daughter of late Rudolph and late Mary Martic. Dear sister of Elaine (late John) Costello. Fond aunt of Steven, Cristen (Beau) Keogh, and Gina (Paul) Bellisario. Dear sister-in-law of late Patricia (Frank) Glinski, and Cheryl Moone (Chris) Martin, Marica (late George) Krainovich, and late Millie (late Bob) Zigich. Also survived by nieces, nephews, kumovi, and many friends. Retired Office Manager of Verson All Steel Press. Marlene was Past President and Past Vice President of Church Circle of Serbian Sisters and Member of Karageorgevich Lodge #25 SNF. Funeral Services Thursday, July 25, 2024 at St Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church (1500 E. 186th St.; Lansing, IL 60438). Marlene will lie in state at church from 9:00 am until time of Service at 10:00 am. Fr. Radovan Jakovljevic officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery; Hammond, IN. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations to St. Michael's Serbian Church in Marlene's Memory is preferred. Arrangements by Kompare Funeral Home, Chicago, IL.

Marlene r.i.p was the nicest neighbor ....she would bring over coffee cakes she had left over from making them for the vets hospital and bought our grandson Danny clothes all the time. She was so giving with her time and herself...and will truly be missed by my whole family. May you Rest In Peace Marlene. We Love you.
