Kenna and I are so sorry to hear about your mom. It was quite a shock to us as I know it was to you. We wish you well, and again, we are so sorry.

We knew both Lou and Marla as newlyweds and we both got pregnant at the same time. We both ended up in the same Lamaze class and to our astonishment,we both delivered our daughters the same day! Marla, in looking back on delivery day, remarked about who was screaming up the hallway from her. It scared her! She dealt with that delivery with a more serene approach than we did! We moved away from Billings for 16 years but upon our return, we almost immediately ran into Marla at church. She greeted us so warmly and made us feel welcome right away again. Seeing our daughters graduate from High School together was a treat!
Alice, your mom and dad both represent everything we associate with Heaven On Earth. In this life they were wonderful to know. As you know, there is but a short separation from this life to the next. I promise you that their legacy of faith, love and goodness resides in your heart! Further, there is a wellspring of support and love and care for you in this community that I hope you never feel afraid to tap into. May you feel God's love. May the tears you shed be wiped away in Jesus' sacrifice. Know that your parents look upon you with love, adoration and pride. We pray for you and express our sympathy for your grief and sorrow.
God Bless You,
Ron, Reta and Nicole Smith
