Mark we grew up on Bryn Mawr and played together for many years. The last time I saw you, you had just gotten your yellow VW beetle.
Both Jay and I have talked and reminisced about our experiences together. The many things we all did together as kids
You are not forgotten, I´m sorry I didn´t find you in the past when looking.
Until we meet again my friend!

Mark and I would go out to eat after late classes in law school (and he could eat!). We went to New York, where I remember he loved Chinatown and Little Italy. He had a good heart, always willing to laugh and relax.

Just learned that Mark had passed away. For our family, he was always the greeter for the High Holy Days at the Loop Synagogue. His smile and interest in our Family was a highlight of the Day.
We will miss him!

Mark became a younger brother to me when he started working at the State Board of Elections. I always had time to speak to and listen to "Greben". I am glad that Mark shared dinner at our home when he visited South Florida. I have thought of him often...but, alas we lost track of one another. To know Mark was to smile a little wider and laugh a bit hardier. To Natalie and Family our heartfelt condolences.

Mark Greben was. It just does not sound right. Mark was so full of life it is hard to imagine that he is gone.
I will miss our extensive discussions of politics and history. Mark loved to learn and enjoyed sharing new found knowledge.
When I needed back surgery, Mark referred me to a great surgeon and loaned me a book on the anatomy of the spine.
When Mark found a new gadget or place for whatever, he always wanted to share his experiences with me.
After he returned from an extended vacation to Columbia, Mark loved to discuss the intricacies of its politics and history.
Over the years, I learned a lot from Greben. I will miss arguing with him. We both enjoyed passionate discussions and never took any argument too seriously.
Mark took pride in his family and friends. He was proud of his sister, Natalie, and her family.
Mark was a good loyal friend. He never let me down in nearly forty years. I'm sorry he won't be around to share long lunches and lively discussions.
Mark was a good man and I will miss him and all the laughs we shared over time.

Tom and I were shocked to hear of his death. I'm sure he will be missed by his friends and family. Mark Greben was one popular guy in the State of Illinois building. We were truly sorry to hear of his unexpected death.

Greben, I will miss you sir. The office won't be the same. Who will I discuss classic motown, jazz, and r&b music with? When will I hear loud salsa music again? Thanks for every day you affected us, good or bad. May your soul rest in perfect peace! Till we meet again in heaven, sleep well!

I met Mark at Chicago Kent Law School. He made sitting
through classes a lot more bearable with his sense of humor.
May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathy to his family.
