My friend, Fabs' -
I find myself thinking about you quite often lately. It must mean summer has finally arrived.
I could see you grilling everyday in your huge backyard and the deck you built all by yourself, your wife at her beautiful garden and your daughter waiting for the food to be cooked. It didn't matter what time of the day it was but you and your family were always together never apart. Never. .. always welcomed me into your home to join your family for dinner.
Hope you are at peace and still watching your family. For now, I will watch over your family and be the cook.

Just heard of your passing. I reached out to your family and spent time with your wife this Easter Season, 2014. You are truly missed. I was transferred from Texas to Florida then arriving back to Chicago I learned you left almost 2 yrs. ago. I will promise to take care of her & your daughter if you let me, she is beautiful, wonderful and refreshing to be with just as you always described your wife she is "pure innocence". Rest in peace my dear friend, Rick R.

Just learned of your passing dear Marko, I will miss your winning smile & your witty humor. I am proud to call you my friend you will always be forever missed, the sports world has lost their greatest fan. You had the Midas Touch when it came to your family. Anybody who knew you knows you were happy to be married to your love of your life, but most of all to be a father to your daughter. I will pray for for soul & pray for family.
I miss you buddy.
Keep the music going...

I just heard of your passing. You were the only one who brought laughter and joy into our work place. Always positive- if something was wrong we could count on you to make it right. Im going to miss your witty sense of humor. You loved your wife and daughter dearly and for that Im sorry for their loss. Your number one in my book.

So sorry to hear about Mark's passing. I worked with Mark at Cook County Government in the Department of Central Services. Mark was a wonderful kind man that worked very hard in the Administrative Print Shop. He always had a kind word to say and loved the White Sox like I do. I believe when the White Sox won the World Series he went out and got boxes of Wheatie's with players pictures on for some of us fans. He was quite a guy and also so proud of his family. My sympathy and prayers go out to his family and many friends. God Bless.

Mark was a good man and loyal friend. We enjoyed many fun times in our youth and early adulthood and his memory will live in my heart forever. Having Mark as a friend was a true blessing and for that I am thankful!
God Bless Mark(Fabes), and all the best to his family and friends!
