Dwyer, Mark Aloysius

Mark Aloysius Dwyer, age 68, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 23, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois, Mark was a proud lifelong Chicagoan whose love for his family, community, and sports defined his life.

He is survived by his two devoted sons, Patrick (Melissa) Dwyer and Timothy (Angela) Dwyer; his beloved grandchildren, Tyler and Cayla; and his cherished siblings, the late Kerry Ann Jacobs, Cynthia Waterman, Gregory Dwyer, Gerald (Catherine) Dwyer and Colleen Dwyer. Mark was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, who adored his warmth, humor, and support.

Mark was a lifelong Shamrock and dedicated member of Local 130, where he took immense pride in his work and the camaraderie of his union brothers and sisters. His warmth, humor, and work hard-play hard mentality for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a pillar of strength and kindness to everyone he met.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Old St. Patrick's Church, 700 West Adams Street, Chicago, Illinois 60661, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a Funeral Mass following at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private.

Mark's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
